Digital TV Antennas

Here is a little more information on the antennas required to pick up the local broadcasts in our area. Rural Fargo (Wahpeton Surrounding Area)

KVRR (Fox), channel 19  listed as 15.1(Fox)

WDAY (ABC), channel 21 Listed as 6.1(ABC)    6.2(CW)    6.3 (Wx Ch)

KFME (PBS), channel 13 Listed as  13.1(PBS HD)  13.2(PBS)  13.3(MN Channel)

KXJB (CBS), channel 38   displayed as 4.1(CBS)

KVLY (NBC), channel 44 Listed as 11.1(NBC)

Antenna Needed to pick up the channels.

In our area we used a Vhf antenna for 4,6,11, and 13 and a uhf for channel 15.

Some of the area uses a vhf 7-13 antenna for channel 7 WCCO out of Alexandria or 7 KJRR Fox out of Jamestown.

Since the transition to UHF channels, we need to either replace out antenna or add another antenna.

Here is the tricky part.

Channel 13 (23uhf digital) will be moving back to channel 13 vhf after the switch. Same with Ch 7 WCCO.

So we still need to keep our VHF antennas for that.

Bottom line, add another antenna or replace everything with one antenna.
